Clemson University highlighting Campus Safety Month

As part of Campus Safety Awareness Month, Clemson University and the Clemson University Police Department are hosting events aimed at keeping students, employees and the community safe. On Thursday, students were treated to pizza with campus police at Clemson House. During September, discussions on how to handle various safety situations are planned for faculty and staff. Events culminate with the annual Campus Safety Walk, where students and employees help identify potential safety problems while enjoying free food. Throughout the year and especially this month as the new semester begins, Clemson University Police are encouraging students and faculty to sign up for CU Safe Alert text messages, which are sent in response to major emergencies.
