Clemson University’s Habitat for Humanity building another Home for Homecoming

On Wednesday, the Clemson University Chapter of Habitat for Humanity begins a house-building project on Bowman Field to celebrate Homecoming. During the 10 days leading up to the Homecoming football game, the chapter will bring together more than 500 students for its annual house-build. The project is now in its 21st year. Clemson’s Habitat for Humanity chapter encourages everyone to participate in the build, which continues until Oct. 24. No experience is required to participate. Volunteers can sign up for shifts at www.clemson.edu/habitat. This year, the chapter hopes to raise $65,500 to cover the building costs.
