Clemson’s Watson could return this Season

On Sunday, Clemson University reported that freshman quarterback Deshaun Watson could return this season after spraining his LCL and suffering a bone bruise during the Tigers loss on Saturday at Georgia Tech, 28-6. The Clemson University Athletics Department also reports that senior offensive guard David Beasley has been diagnosed with Patellar tendon inflammation. Both players are listed day-to-day and their status will be evaluated later this week. Clemson welcomes Georgia State to Death Valley on Saturday with kickoff set for 3:30pm.
