Cold Weather Forecast this Weekend

Frank Strait, a weather forecaster with the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources, predicts a storm from the Intermountain West will affect this region from tomorrow night until Friday morning. However, he anticipates that the temperatures in most parts of South Carolina will be too high for precipitation other than rain. There is a possibility of brief freezing rain in the Upstate area, particularly northwest of I-85. Over the weekend, temperatures in the colder regions are expected to drop further, potentially reaching single digits in some Upstate locations. Strait’s advice is to be prepared for these conditions.
