Considerate Café to open Oct. 10 at Hamilton Career Center

The STARS Considerate Café at the Fred P. Hamilton Career Center will soon be open to the public, again. The Considerate Café has been the result of a grant geared toward promoting graduation and decreasing the drop-out rate among at-risk students through the implementation of an employment program. The program allows students to have a paid, on-campus job while continuing to improve their employability skills. Students are also learning their curriculum objectives which include daily living skills and social skills. The café will open on Fridays from 11am until 1:30pm. The first day open will be Oct. 10, 2014. The menu includes creative specials each week. On the Grand Opening, they will be serving Steak and Cheese Sandwiches and Considerate Café Clubs. Please join them for lunch and help support the employment program. The Considerate Café is located in the Transition Building at the Fred P. Hamilton Career Center on 100 Vocational Drive in Seneca.
