County Council Extends Mask Ordinance in Oconee Through End of June

Oconee County Council voted at their meeting this week in favor of extending the current mask and face covering ordinance until at least June 30th. According to language in the ordinance, which went into effect in August, states that “anyone working in or visiting a county government building, including all branches of the local library, will be required to wear a face mask unless they are exempt for medical or religious reasons.”
