COVID-19 Case Confirmed at Seneca High School

The School District of Oconee County issued a notification late Wednesday afternoon that a case of COVID-19 has been confirmed at Seneca High School.

Seneca High’s principal, Felicia LeRoy, said in a statement that contact tracing began immediately and that if a student was in the same classroom or close contact with the person who was confirmed to have coronavirus, follow-up would be made via phone and email.

The District is asking parents to continue wellness checks each morning before school and to contact your child’s school immediately should they develop symptoms or have experienced further exposure to COVID-19.
