CU Driving SCIENCE program receives $53,500 Grant

The Driving SCIENCE-Saving Teenage Lives program has been awarded a $53,500 grant from the American Honda Foundation. The program developed by Clemson University’s College of Engineering and Science, exposes teachers to the best practices for improving student achievement and promoting awareness of motor sports careers. It was developed with grants from DuPont, Safety-Kleen and EcoPower and in partnership with the Clemson University International Center for Automotive Research. The grant from the American Honda Foundation will be used to create 20 new STEM or science, technology, engineering and mathematics projects that focus on the safety of driving. These projects will be provided free to Driving SCIENCE teachers and to the greater education community.
