Dabo’s All In Team Foundation awards $50K to Clemson Breast Cancer Research

In observance of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Clemson University Head Football Coach Dabo Swinney’s All In Team Foundation announces a $50,000 grant to breast cancer research. The grant from Dabo’s All In Team Foundation will fund research already taking place at the Institute for Biological Interfaces of Engineering, which is a Clemson University-based interdisciplinary research and educational unit integrating faculty member activities from five colleges. Its goal is the development of laboratory-engineered tissue systems that can be used to study new medical implants and disease processes or to develop new therapies and preventatives. A goal of Dabo’s All In Team Foundation is to raise funds annually for breast cancer prevention and research, with an emphasis on local university research programs, and efforts providing medical screening and testing to Upstate residents. So far, the foundation has raised more than $220,000 for breast cancer prevention and research.
