Dalton Road Acreage Rezoning Request Denied by Seneca City Council

In Council Chambers at City Hall in Seneca Tuesday night, the Mayor and Council met to take care of a few agenda items, one in particular that has been getting a lot of attention from neighbors in the Dalton Road area, where a rezoning request had been submitted by the owner of a little over 16 acres.

The request to change from R-20 to R-15 “In Title Only” was unanimously denied by the council after having heard recommendations against the move from the city’s planning and zoning board, along with protest from several residents of the neighborhood, as well…

City Administrator Scott Moulder announced upcoming dates for public hearings regarding the city’s abandonment of Jamesway Drive…

In other news from Seneca’s City Council meeting held on Tuesday, Mr. Moulder explained that he is still waiting for County Administrator Amanda Brock to send a final fire services contract to his office…
