Dates and Locations of Hunter Education Classes

The South Carolina Department of Natural Resources announces dates and locations for upcoming Hunter Education Classes.
Sept. 20, 2014 from 8am to 3pm at the SC DNR Office, 311 Natural Resources Drive in Clemson.
Sept. 27, 2014 from 8am to 3pm at the Belton Train Depot, 100 North Main Street in Belton.
Oct. 4, 2014 from 8am to 3pm at Foothills Community Church, 305 Bountyland Road in Seneca.
Oct. 25, 2014 from 8am to 3pm at the SC DNR Office, 311 Natural Resources Drive in Clemson.
Nov. 1, 2014 from 9am to 4pm at Calhoun Falls State Park, 46 Maintenance Shop Road in Calhoun Falls.
Nov. 8, 2014 from 8am to 3pm at the SC DNR Office, 311 Natural Resources Drive in Clemson.
Dec. 6, 2014 from 8am to 3pm at the SC DNR Office, 311 Natural Resources Drive in Clemson.
All residents and non-residents born after June 30, 1979, must successfully complete a hunter education course that is approved by the SC Department of Natural Resources before a hunting license can be obtained. Pre-registration of attendance is recommended, as limited space is available. Individuals can register by going to www.dnr.sc.gov and clicking on the Hunter Education icon and following the instructions to register for their particular class date and location. An adult must accompany children under 12. Students are asked to bring a pencil or pen for testing purposes. Students are requested to arrive prior to the starting time and either bring a bag lunch or be able to get lunch off-site during the allotted time break.
