Deadly Shooting in Anderson County Under Investigation

The Anderson County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a deadly shooting that occurred on Palmetto Lane in Anderson on Saturday around 4 p.m. The victim, Randon Tyree Strong, 28, was taken by ambulance and later airlifted to a Greenville hospital, where he passed away during surgery. The K9 Unit and drones are searching for the suspect, who remains unidentified. Anyone with information is asked to report it anonymously to Crime Stoppers.
