Deputy makes Drug Arrest during Routine Patrol

An Oconee County Sheriff’s deputy on routine road patrol Saturday morning arrested a man on drug charges.  The Sheriff’s Office reports that 24-year-old Johnny Matthew Robinson of Walhalla was booked into the Oconee County Detention Center on charges of possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine.  He was also given two uniform traffic tickets, one for simple possession of marijuana and one for a violation of the counties drug paraphernalia ordinance.  Robinson was released from the Detention Center on a personal recognizance bond for all three charges of $11,712.
