DHEC COVID-19 Numbers Update: Oconee County Reaches 9 Deaths

The South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control (DHEC) announced 1,011 new confirmed cases and 7 new probable cases of the novel coronavirus COVID-19, 18 additional confirmed deaths and 7 new probable deaths. This brings the total number of confirmed cases to 99,713, probable cases to 722, confirmed deaths to 1,949, and 82 probable deaths. 12 new cases were reported in Oconee County on Sunday, Pickens County added nine new cases and Anderson County had 15 new cases and one death. On Saturday, one new death was confirmed here in Oconee County, bringing the total number of deaths here to nine.
