DHEC Investigating 21 New COVID-19 Cases: Statewide Total Now at 81

South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control (DHEC) is investigating 21 additional cases of the COVID-19 novel coronavirus.This brings the total number statewide to 81 cases in 17 counties. Both Kershaw and Greenville Counties have four new cases each, while one new case was reproted in each of the following counties: Abbeville, Anderson, Beaufort, Charleston, Dorchester, Horery, Lancaster, Lexington, Richland, and Saluda. Individuals with signs of illness are asked to stay at home and not attend public gatherings. DHEC encourages the public to follow recommendations for social distancing.
