Dia de los Muertos Celebration Saturday at High Falls Park

Oconee Parks, Recreation and Tourism invites people of all ages for Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) celebration this Saturday from 10am until 3pm at High Falls Park on Lake Keowee.

Admission is free and there will be vendors, food trucks, sugar skull decorating, a performance by Mariachi Jalisco, and at the end of the festival, a screening of the movie Coco.

Attendees are invited to bring items for a Dia de los Muertos altar to honor passed friends and relatives, such as a photograph of deceased loved ones, and something they loved. Items may be brought to High Falls Park any time during business hours. The altar will be on display in the Patio Deck through the end of the festival Saturday.
