Dream Center “Will No Longer Pursue” Old SMS Property

A source working with the group that attempted to attract the Dream Center of Easley says, “We will no longer pursue the property currently occupied by Seneca Middle School as a possible site for the Dream Center and other non-profits.  While we were hoping a partnership with several non-profits and the City of Seneca could be developed, we no longer feel this is an option.  We are so grateful to members of the District School Board and District Leadership who saw the needs and benefits of this possibility and were willing to explore the partnership.  We will continue to partner with ‘like minded’ organizations to provide much needed services in Oconee County.”

The City of Seneca has also expressed interest in the property, and City Administrator Scott Moulder said representatives participated in an informative meeting Tuesday night organized by neighborhood members…
