Drug charges filed against Driver in Fatal DUI crash

The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office has filed drug charges against a Walhalla man already in jail on charges related to a fatal Saturday night accident. Oconee County Sheriff’s Office Public Information Officer Jimmy Watt gives details. “17-year-old Jordan Scott Tilson was served with warrants charging him with distribution of a controlled substance (Oxycodone) and distribution of marijuana. The warrants on Tilson were obtained on March 18. According to Narcotics Agents with the Sheriff’s Office, an undercover operative purchased a quantity of marijuana and pills from Tilson on Jan. 15, 2015.” The incidents occurred, according to warrants, at an address on Duck Pond Road in Walhalla. The South Carolina Highway Patrol charged Tilson with felony DUI after a single vehicle accident Saturday night in Westminster that killed 18-year-old Autumn Charissa Jordan of Walhalla.
