Duncan holding disaster hearing in Clemson

On Friday, Third District Congressman Jeff Duncan hosts a hearing in South Carolina to discuss how states are prepared to deal with disasters. A subcommittee of the House Homeland Security Committee meets in Clemson to discuss how planning has changed since Hurricane Hugo smashed into South Carolina a quarter century ago. The Category 4 storm hit the coast at Charleston in September of 1989. Duncan serves as chairman of the House Homeland Security Subcommittee on Oversight and Management Efficiency.
