Early Voting Ends Friday

A total of 32 votes were cast in Oconee’s municipal elections as part of the early voting process. The majority of the activity was centered in Seneca and Walhalla, with 14 votes from Seneca and 18 from Walhalla.

The elections, which are scheduled for Tuesday, November 7, will fill the positions of mayor and council in Seneca, Salem, Walhalla, West Union, and Westminster. Registered voters in Oconee County can visit the elections office between normal business hours in Walhalla during the early voting period and vote just like they would at their polling place on election day until this Friday, November 3.

Voters will be asked to present their photo ID when checking in to vote.
