Early Voting Only Happening At Board of Elections Office

Early voting is underway in Oconee County at the Board of Elections office at 415 South Pine Street in Walhalla.

In some apparent confusion, many voters have started going to their regular polling place to vote early. Regular polling precincts are only open on election day. All early voting is happening at the county office in Walhalla.

Also, keep in mind that if you are returning in-person your completed mail ballot, there is no need to wait in the line outside the Oconee County administrative complex. The outdoor line is for persons casting their ballot inside. Those who are returning a completed ballot in a sealed envelope, go directly to the ballot drop box which is manned by an election worker.

The board of elections office in Walhalla is open for early voting Monday thru Friday from 8:30 am until 5:00 pm.
