End School Year on a Positive

Less than a month of school remains in the School District of Oconee County and parents are being asked to help their students finish on a positive note, says Oconee County Schools Assistant Superintendent of Operations Steve Hanvey. “Let’s try to end the year on a strong and positive note. Lot of testing going on, we have exams coming up and some of our kids are participating in AP exams now. So, it’s a busy time and can be a stressful time, so just keep encouraging students to show what they know. They have been working hard all year to get to this point and we just want them to finish on a positive.” The last day of public school in Oconee County is Thursday, June 4.
