Enrollment remains strong at Clemson

Clemson University began its 122nd academic school year last week and this year’s freshman class enters with high marks and lofty expectations. Clemson’s incoming freshman class has an average SAT score of 1255 and 54% of them ranked in the top 10% of their high school classes. While official numbers will not be available until October, overall enrollment for fall 2014 is expected to be comparable to last year’s number of more than 21,600 students. That includes more than 3,400 freshmen and 1,200 transfer students who enrolled this semester out of a combined application pool of 23,400 freshmen and transfer applications.
