Estimated $500K In Damages After Fire at Seneca’s City Motor Pool

Just before 5:00 am Sunday morning, Seneca Fire was dispatched to an explosion and vehicle fire at the City Motor Pool on S Depot Street. On arrival, three city garbage trucks were involved with two more in danger. The fire was extinguished with no further damages or injuries reported.

Damages are estimated at around half a million dollars. There will likely be an update given at tonight’s City Council meeting, which begins at 6:00 pm at City Hall in Seneca.
