Felicia LeRoy named New Principal of Seneca High School

At a special called board meeting Wednesday morning, May 30, the Board of Trustees for the School District of Oconee County (SDOC) accepted the recommendation of Mrs. Felicia LeRoy as the new principal of Seneca High School. The effective date of this appointment is July 1. Mrs. LeRoy has 29 years of experience as a teacher and administrator. She has been an Assistant Principal at Seneca High School for the past nine years. She holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Secondary Education (English) from Clemson University and holds certification in Administration and Supervision from Clemson University. “I am honored to be named the Principal of Seneca High School, a Palmetto’s Finest High School. To be the principal of this great school in this wonderful Seneca community is humbling and I am very grateful to be granted this opportunity. At Seneca High School, we are so proud of the fact that our school is dedicated to excellence in academics, arts, and athletics; to be a part of something that special is exciting,” said Mrs. LeRoy.
