Arrest records from the Oconee County Detention Center indicate that 54-year-old Clifford Lee Burgess and 50-year-old Kenneth Edward Stone were arrested last Wednesday and charged with distributing meth. Burgess also faces a probation violation and other charges. His bond was set at $60,000, while Stone’s bond was set at $25,000.

In a follow up to the investigation, on Friday, Karen Denise Gibson, age 49, and the primary resident of the East Main Street address that was raided by police, was arrested on a charge of distributing meth.

Jesus Ramon Jimenez

72-year-old Jesus Jimenez of the same address was arrested and charged with distributing meth, and Samuel J. Verner, age 55, was arrested on charges of trafficking in ice and possession of heroin. His bond was set at $100,000. Gibson and Jimenez have been released on bond, according to jail records.
