Former Clemson Player arrested Again

A player thrown off the football team at Clemson University is in trouble again. In May, Clemson Head Coach Dabo Swinney dismissed sophomore defensive end Ebenezer Ogundeko from the team after an arrest for financial transaction fraud. He was arrested again, this time for third-degree assault and battery. Deputies with the Oconee County Sheriff’s Office arrested Ogundeko on Friday for an incident that took place in March. He posted a bond of $1,092 and faces trial on Aug. 20. After being dismissed from the Clemson football team, 19-year-old Ogundeko of Brooklyn, New York transferred to Tennessee State.
