Former Council Member Running for Vacant Seat

Qualifying opens at noon today for a city council seat in Seneca that was left vacant by the recent passing of council member Al Gaines.

Former Seneca Council Member and retired educator Ernest Riley has decided to run in the May 30th special election to fill Gaines’ unexpired term. Riley also worked for several years as an assistant principal, under Gaines’ leadership, at Seneca Middle School.
