Fourth Suspect in Alleged January Mob Battery Incident Finally Arrested

The Sheriff’s Office of Oconee County has confirmed the arrest of all four individuals implicated in a mob assault that occurred in January.

The incident, which took place at a residence on Sherwood Drive near Walhalla on January 20, resulted in the victim being hospitalized. However, the specifics of the victim’s condition remain undisclosed.

The suspects, identified as Michael Joseph Marcello Jr. (34), Kellie Renee Brown (33), Andrew Lee Bryson (34), and Chase Landon Bonecutter (19), allegedly attacked the victim at his home, using metal pipes to inflict injuries to his head and body.

Brown was apprehended on January 15 and subsequently charged with assault and battery by mob. Marcello was detained on January 24 due to outstanding bench warrants and was formally charged for his involvement in the assault on January 30.

Bonecutter was found and arrested on February 8, and was charged with 2nd Degree Assault and Battery by Mob. Lastly, Bryson was arrested on February 21 and charged with second-degree assault and battery by mob.
