French Quarter Atmosphere in Seneca’s Future

State funds amounting to $2.5 million arrived in Seneca for the city’s project to redevelop the former Harper’s and Kimbrell’s properties in the downtown district.

Scott Moulder, city administrator, made the announcement at the Seneca Improvements Corporation meeting on Wednesday, and said last week on 94.1 The Lake’s “Coffee Time” that a French Quarter theme is in the works for the site…

The old Harper’s building has already been demolished, while the wrecking ball awaits the Kimbrell’s building. Demolition costs for that project is estimated at around $200,000.
