Future OJRSA Meetings will be held in The Lamar Bailes Board Room

Any future business of the Oconee Joint Regional Sewer Authority will be conducted in it’s regular location in Seneca, however, the facility will be known by a new moniker.

In honor of close to fifty years of service to the Sewer Authority, the Board honored the Walhalla resident so dedicated to public service by naming their conference room after him. The Lamar Bailes Board Room honors the retired businessman, former mayor and both city and county council member and chair.

Bailes is probably best known in local government circles, however, as a long-time member of the OJRSA’s policy board. Bailes has left the board as of their meeting last night, and was succeeded by Brandon Burton in Seat 5 for Walhalla.

Scott Parris was reappointed by the Walhalla City Council to Seat 6; Brian Ramey takes Kevin Bronson’s Seat 7 for Westminster and Tally Grant was reappointed by the Walhalla City Councul to serve in Seat 9 for Walhalla and Westminster At-Large.
