GA Man leads Anderson Co. Deputies on Chase

A Leesburg, Georgia man is under arrest after deputies say he led them on a chase in Anderson County. The Anderson County Sheriff’s Office reports that 26-year-old Nicholas Jose Sisneros stands charged with failure to stop for blue lights and open container. The incident occurred around 8:30pm Tuesday off Clemson Boulevard. A check of the vehicle license tag showed it had been stolen. According to the incident report, the deputy tried to get Sisneros to step out of the car, but he drove off and a chase ensued. It ended when the suspect got out of the car and ran into a field on Sunrise Harbor Drive. Another deputy on Harris Bridge Road later stopped Sisneros. The original deputy who tried to stop Sisneros identified him as the driver in the chase and he was arrested.
