Gamecocks sweep Series with Tennessee

South Carolina belted out a season-high 21 hits with 10 different Gamecocks recording at least one hit on the way to a 19-2 victory over Tennessee to sweep a three-game SEC series at Lindsey Nelson Stadium. The Gamecocks improve to 26-7 and 8-4 in the SEC with the wins. South Carolina finished the weekend with 36 runs and 45 hits in 3 games versus the Volunteers. The 19 runs on Sunday were the most in a game for the Gamecocks since 24 versus College of Charleston in 2011 and the most in a SEC game since scoring 20 in 2010 versus Alabama. South Carolina is back in action on Tuesday hosting The Citadel. First pitch at Carolina Stadium is set for 7pm.
