Garden Clean Up Day at OHC

Spring preparations begin this Saturday at the Oconee Heritage Center as the museum holds a Garden Clean Up Day, explains assistant director Jennifer Moss. “The weather is supposed to be clear and sunny as we work to prep the Heritage Park and Garden for spring. Bring your garden gear and get ready to get your hands dirty. We have deadheading to do, ivy removal, small tree planting, weeding, trash pick up, and brick walkway work to do. We always have a good time no matter what the task, so feel free to join us for as little or as much as you feel up to.” The Oconee Heritage Center’s Garden Clean Up Day is this Saturday, March 7, from 1-5pm. All help is greatly appreciated as the Oconee Heritage Center works to beautify the corner of Brown’s Square in Walhalla.
