Gasoline Prices continue to Decrease

Good news for motorists, gas prices continue to decrease across the country, explains Amerine Woodyard, with the U.S. Energy Information Administration.  “The U.S. average retail price for regular gasoline fell to $3.29 a gallon on Monday. That’s down 3-tenths of a penny from a week ago, based on the weekly price survey by the U.S. Energy Information Administration. Pump prices were highest in the West Coast states at $3.49 a gallon, up 6-tenths of a penny from a week ago. Prices were lowest in the Gulf Coast region at $3.08 a gallon, down 9-tenths of a penny.” GasBuddy reports gasoline prices in South Carolina currently average $3.04 a gallon for regular, which is down 11-cents from a week ago and $3.67 for diesel, that’s up 22-cents from one week ago.  South Carolina’s average price for gasoline is lower than neighboring states; Georgia lists $3.17 a gallon for regular and North Carolina reports $3.27 for a gallon of regular grade gasoline.
