Georgia Teen Killed in Anderson County Crash

A tragic single-vehicle accident claimed the life of a 16-year-old high school student from Royston, Georgia, on Sunday evening. The victim, identified by the Anderson County Coroner’s Office as 16 year-old Kveon M. Willis from Royston, GA, was an unrestrained front seat passenger. The coroner’s offiice said the impact caused Willis to sustain traumatic brain injury due to blunt force trauma, and he died at the scene. The driver of the vehicle, who was returning from a basketball game with Willis and their recreation team, was transported to AnMed for evaluation of minor injuries.

The Anderson County Office of the Coroner and the South Carolina Highway Patrol are conducting an investigation into the crash. Willis was a student and athlete at Madison High School in Danielsville, Georgia.
