Gibbs back in Clemson to face Murder Charges

A wanted man is back in Clemson to face numerous felony charges including murder. Thursday afternoon, 23-year-old Jaron Lamont Gibbs was returned to Clemson after being captured by U.S. Marshals in Atlanta, Georgia on Tuesday. Gibbs stands charged with murder, attempted murder, possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime and possession of a weapon by a convicted felon. The incident occurred Saturday at the intersection of Issaqueena Trail and Cambridge Drive in Clemson. Police reports state that Gibbs shot a man in the head after an argument over money.
