Hall of Fame Night at Bobcat Stadium Tonight

It’s another big test for the Seneca Bobcats tonight as they host the BHP Bears in a non-region varsity football game. Coming off their first win of the season last week, the Bobcats are hoping to beat an old region rival. Seneca High School (SHS) Varsity Football Head Coach Hal Capps breaks down tonight’s opponent. “Here comes another ranked team in the state in AAAA. They’re very athletic, they fly around, they’re very physical and really an outstanding football team. So, we are going to have to take care of the football, we’re going to have to protect it, we’re going to have to be smart in what we are doing, defensively we can bend, but we can’t break. So, it’s going to be a tough game for us, but we are going in with the idea that we’re going to win, we’re going to play well, we’re going to get after it and we’re not going to back down.” It’s also Hall of Fame Night at Bobcat Stadium tonight. SHS enshrines the tenth class of the Athletic Hall of Fame during halftime, adds Coach Capps. “First of all, it’s a great honor for not only the inductees, but their family and friends. It’s a great reflection time for their classmates to come back and celebrate them and to just have some Bobcat pride about the program, school and community.” The four member class of 2018 includes athletes Jessica Cousins and Stephanie Mihaly Fernandes, Coach Tom Jordan, and administrator Charles Thompson. Kickoff of the Seneca Bobcats versus BHP Bears is tonight at 7:30pm. If you can’t make it to Bobcat Stadium, listen to the game here on 94.1 The Lake, WSNW.
