Help sought finding Stolen Tractor

Crimestoppers of Oconee County, Inc. and the Oconee County Sheriff’s Office seek the public’s help in an investigation into a tractor that was stolen from The Cliffs at Keowee Falls. A deputy responded to an address on Indian Trail near Salem the morning of March 15, in regards to reports of a stolen orange in color, 2010 Kubota M6040 tractor with a yellow or tan fertilizer hopper on the back. The tractor is valued at around $65,000. The case has been turned over to the Criminal Investigations Division of the Oconee County Sheriff’s Office and information concerning the tractor was issued to surrounding agencies and has been entered into the National Crimes Information Center database. If you have any information on this larceny of a tractor that occurred at The Cliffs at Keowee Falls near Salem during the early morning hours of March 15, you are asked to call Crimestoppers at 1-888-CRIME-SC. You don’t have to give your name and all information given is confidential. If your tip leads to an arrest, you could be eligible for a cash reward. The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office is continuing their investigation.
