Help sought in Multiple Shoplifting Cases at Seneca Walmart

The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office seeks the public’s help in solving two separate shoplifting cases at the Seneca Walmart committed by the same person, explains Public Information Officer Jimmy Watt. “Deputies believe that the first shoplifting occurred on or about Nov. 29, when a white male came into the store at 1636 Sandifer Boulevard and put three computers, believed to be HP computers, in a shopping cart and took them past all points of sale and left the store with them. Deputies were then notified that on Monday of this week, the same individual entered the store, went to the computer section and took possession of a HP desktop computer, valued at around $527.88, and went past all points of sale and exited the store without paying for them. The individual then reportedly got into a Gold Honda CRV with two black females inside. Deputies were not able to obtain the tag information for this vehicle. Deputies are looking for information on the identity of the individual that was taken by the security cameras at Walmart. In the picture provided to deputies, the individual in question is wearing what appears to be a blue baseball style hat and a blue coat.” If you have any information on this case, you are asked to call CrimeStoppers at 864-638-STOP. You don’t have to give your name and if you tip leads to an arrest, you could be eligible for a cash reward.
