Help sought in Seneca Shooting Investigation

The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office seeks help solving a fatal shooting outside a Seneca bar early Sunday morning. Anthony Holden was shot in the large crowd that was outside “Sonny’s Hot Spot Bar and Grill” on Wells Highway near Shiloh Road. The shooting incident left several people wounded and they were taken to Oconee Memorial Hospital for treatment. Oconee County Sheriff’s Office Public Information Officer Jimmy Watt asks the public for leads in the case. “Basically we are just asking anyone with any information to call Crime Stoppers to provide us with that information, we certainly would appreciate it, and so, the investigation is continuing.” Deputies say as many as 100 people were at the bar when they arrived around 12:30am. The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office is reviewing surveillance footage from scene.
