Hidden Valley Road in Pickens County to close temporarily for repairs

 SCDOT will close a portion of Hidden Valley Road (S-39-34) in Pickens County from Wednesday, August 9 through Friday, August 11 for crossline pipe repairs.

Hidden Valley Road (S-39-34) will remain open to local traffic during the repairs. See map and detour routes below for more information.
Detour Route for Traffic Eastbound Hidden Valley Road (S‐39‐48): Motorists will be directed to take Table Rock Road (SC 288) to Pumpkintown Highway (SC‐8). Turn right onto Pumpkintown Highway (SC‐8) until they reach Midway Road (S‐39‐34), upon which they will turn right. Midway Road (S‐39‐69) will bring motorists back to Hidden Valley Road (S‐34).

Detour Route for Traffic Westbound Hidden Valley Road (S‐39‐48): Motorists will be directed to take Midway Road (S‐39‐34) to Pumpkintown Highway (SC‐8). They will then turn left onto Pumpkintown Highway (SC‐8) taking them to Table Rock Road (SC 288). Turn left onto Table Rock Road (SC 288) which will bring motorists back to Hidden Valley Road (S‐39‐34).
