Honoring Their Service Motorcade set for June 20

On June 20 the Upstate once again welcomes 41 Marines to enjoy the lakes, rivers and mountains of Upstate South Carolina for three and half days of rest and relaxation. This is the eighth year of the local program to honor the service of the men and women of our armed forces. The motorcade departs Red Owens Field in Easley onto US 123 at Rock Springs Church around 2:25pm. It continues to SC 93 through Liberty, Norris, and Central then back on US 123 at the Publix ramp in Clemson. The motorcade continues along 123, looping past the interchange at Oconee Memorial Hospital and proceeding through Seneca to SC 130 to the Lake Keowee area. The motorcade is expected to arrive at the World of Energy around 4pm.
