HOSA Students Place at State Competition

Forty-two students from HOSA, Health Occupations Students of America, at Hamilton Career Center traveled to Charleston, March 10-12 to compete in the SC state competition. Students represented Walhalla High School, Seneca High School and West-Oak High School. The students listed below placed at the state competition. Those that placed in the top three will travel to Orlando, FL in June to represent the state of South Carolina in the National competition.

The chapter received the award for Outstanding HOSA chapter and was recognized for our HOSA Happenings Newsletter.
There were three students awarded over $2,000 in scholarships at the conference– Christine Martin, Eva Diaz, Hannah King.
