Hospice hosts Rockin’ Around the Christmas Trees

If you are looking for an opportunity to have your child’s picture made with Santa for free, look no further. Hospice of the Foothills Advisory Board will debut its new Rockin’ Around the Christmas Trees at this year’s annual Christmas Tree Festival. The event will be Tuesday, Dec. 2, from 6-8pm at St. Paul Catholic Church on Bountyland Road in Seneca. “It’s a great event for the community since parents and grandparents can bring their children out to visit with Santa and also see the beautiful trees decorated for Christmas,” said Debbie DuBose, co-chair of the Hospice Christmas Tree Festival. In addition, six choirs from local elementary schools will sing holiday songs throughout the evening. The choirs will perform on the following schedule:
6pm Fair Oak Elementary directed by Isa Harold
6:30pm Keowee Elementary directed by Kelley Smith
6:40pm Blue Ridge Elementary directed by Ben Bolin
7:00pm Ravenel Elementary directed by Carla Rogers
7:20pm Westminster Elementary directed by Scott Bedenbaugh
7:40pm Northside Elementary directed by Britton Barrett
In addition to hearing these talented, enthusiastic children sing, attendees can purchase items such as homemade cookies, crafts and $5 jewelry. Mark your calendar and come out to this new event to celebrate the season with Santa while supporting your local not-for-profit GHS Hospice of the Foothills.
