Hydrate in Summer Heat

As temperatures rise this summer, remember to hydrate during the heat. Certified Health Coach Ellen Hotz says if you must be out in the heat this summer remember one thing. “The biggest thing is water.” Hotz encourages exercise be done in the morning during the summer months. “Exercising in the cool time of the day or in air-conditioning or swimming, which is a great summer sport.” Exercise in the afternoon and early evening stresses the body more during the summer because heat has been absorbed all day into the ground and temperatures can still be high.
