Improvements Approved for Clemson Parks

Clemson City Council has approved funding for improvements to Nettles Park, Clemson Park, and the Green Crescent Trail Project. Enhancements include a skate park, splash pad, event staging area, and a warming kitchen at Clemson Park. Nettles Park will gain 56 parking spaces, 8 lit Pickle Ball courts, a gathering area, and a dog park. The Green Crescent Trail will extend by 2.75 miles. The projects’ estimated costs are $1,283,000 for Nettles Park, $2,237,000 for Clemson Park, and $3,134,014 for Green Crescent Trail. The city can sell a bond up to $4,650,000 to fund these projects.
