Kinsela found Not Guilty in Wife’s Death

A Pickens County jury has reached a decision in the case of Don Kinsela, who stood accused of killing his wife by setting fire to a storage shed. He was found not guilty yesterday on both counts, the arson and the murder. His wife, Cheryl Kinsela died in July of 2010 from smoke inhalation after a fire broke out in a storage shed at their Easley home. His trial began on November 25 with jury deliberations convening on Tuesday. It took the jury less than two hours to reach its decision of not guilty. After hearing the verdict, Kinsela hugged his family, including the parents of his deceased wife, who supported him even after he was charged.
