Law Enforcement still on call during Holidays

When celebrating the holidays with family and friends, know that in the event of an emergency someone will be working to take your call, explains Oconee County Sheriff’s Office Public Information Officer Jimmy Watt. “On behalf of Oconee County Sheriff Mike Crenshaw, all the men and women who work hard everyday at the Sheriff’s Office and who make up the Sheriff’s Office to all the citizens of Oconee County, we certainly wish you a merry Christmas, we wish you a happy New Year and a happy holidays. Please know that through the holidays the Sheriff’s Office never closes, our Dispatch Center is fully staffed even on Christmas, New Year’s and all holidays. We do have our normal and routine law enforcement operations during the holidays as well. So, if you need assistance from the Sheriff’s Office, always know that when you call us we will be there to take your call and if you need an officer to help you or assist you we will send one out to you even during the holidays.” Thanks to the men and women who will be working this holiday season to ensure the community has a safe, Merry Christmas and happy New Year.
