Learn to Preserve Produce at OHC

Have you always wanted to can but don’t know how? Come learn how to preserve your produce at Oconee Heritage Center’s canning class, explains curator and director Leslie White. “Adair Hoover will show you all the steps to create perfectly preserved produce! During the class, you will make and can applesauce. The cost is $30 and that includes a canning safety booklet and all supplies. Space is limited, so call the Oconee Heritage Center to reserve your spot.” Call the Oconee Heritage Center at 864-638-2224 to reserve your spot for the canning class on Saturday, Sept. 12 from 10am-12pm at the Oconee County Clemson Extension Office, which is located at 201 West South Broad Street in Walhalla.
